Tactics and plays

Our pipeline opportunities keep stalling after the first meeting. What tools help us find another way into the account?

Use account mapping, call context and relationship research to understand why opportunities stall after the first meeting, then choose a relevant next conversation. Another contact will not fix absent need, budget or fit. Work with the champion to identify decision roles and concerns, and evaluate tools by whether they support a credible action rather than simply adding names.

Diagnose the stall

Review whether the meeting established a real problem, agreed next step and decision process. Check timing, competing priorities, stakeholder concerns and whether the opportunity should be qualified at all.

Map the missing participation

Identify budget authority, business sponsor, users and evaluators appropriate to the deal. Use account conversations and current research to validate roles. An org chart alone may not explain influence.

Research a suitable route

Existing account relationships, customer peers, colleagues or partners may help involve another stakeholder. Confirm the connection and coordinate with the champion before approaching them.

Match tools to the task

CRM and conversation records provide deal context. Research tools identify people and evidence. Relationship-led services can coordinate approved introductions. Capabilities overlap; test the actual workflow.

Orbb is relevant when a stalled account needs evidence-backed people research and appropriate access. The goal is an informed next step or honest disqualification, not adding more contacts to preserve an opportunity that has no current buying basis.
